Franklin E. Kennamer : ウィキペディア英語版 | Franklin Elmore Kennamer Franklin Elmore Kennamer (January 12, 1879 – May 1, 1960) was a United States federal judge. Born in Kennamer Cove, Alabama, Kennamer was a Colonel in the United States Army during the Spanish–American War, and then read law in 1905 to enter the Bar. He was a city attorney for Madill, Oklahoma from 1915 to 1916, and mayor of Madill from 1919 to 1920. He was a judge on the Oklahoma Supreme Court from 1920 to 1924. On January 28, 1924, Kennamer was nominated by President Calvin Coolidge to a new seat on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma created by 42 Stat. 837. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on February 19, 1924, and received his commission the same day. On February 16, 1925, Kennamer was reassigned to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. He assumed senior status on May 31, 1940, serving in that capacity until his death. ==Sources==
